10-Week Classic Raw Havoc Wreaking Rampage (10-Week Meet Prep - Classic Raw)
10-week meet prep for the wrapped lifter, broken down into three phases:
Phase 1 - General Strength. Competition lifts are in, but more time is spent on supplemental movements to bring up common weaknesses in the big three. This is a strength phase primarily, but this phase includes the most "bodybuilding" style work
Phase 2 - Specific strength. Larger amount of weekly volume dedicated to competition lifts. Wraps are introduced in this phase.
Phase 3 - Peak. Accessory volume drops and we hit singles and doubles to peak for meet day.
This program lends itself to heavier lifters who don't recover well from heavy squatting and deadlifting in the same week. You will squat and deadlift every week, but work on a 2 session undulation between heavy and lighter, higher set volume days. Benching happens twice a week on a "Heavy/Light" split, where the second day is used to drive volume through movements that address common weak points in the bench press.
